GISH is FAMILY

It’s my favorite time of year...Fall and Football!  As I was watching the Bengals and Buccaneers last night, it cut to the commercial featuring my starting tight end, Rob Gronkowski.  It ends with the saying Football is Family.  After the goosebumps faded away, I began thinking about my family at Grand Island Senior High.  We  rise early in the morning to prepare for a day of teaching.  We put on our professional attire (pads). We pull into the parking lot taking a deep breath of fresh air before heading into the building.   We glance at our lesson plans (playbook).   We hook our computers up to the liquid-crystal display (helmets).  And we get pumped up because we teach the future of this nation!  Say it with me now, “WE TEACH THE FUTURE OF THIS NATION!”  GISH is Family.  To honor our family, I dedicate this first blog post to some traditional resources and strategies for improving our family time.
