5 C’s Of A Beachin’ 21st Century Summer

Those who know me best understand and appreciate the fact that I am what you call a country music junkie. Thanks to my grandfather’s 8- tracks, I grew up listening to  Marty Robbins, Johnny Cash, and Crystal Gayle.   In honor of my down home country roots, each summer I carefully create the perfect country concert series list. This summer my list includes: Dierks Bentley, Chase Rice, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, Lee Brice, and Jake Owen.

  As I reflected with teachers these last two weeks, multiple conversations revolved around the 4 C’s of 21st Century Learning and how to embed technology into their daily  instruction.   So in honor of my country roots and love of technology, I decided to add a 5th C to the  GIPS 21st Century Teaching and Learning Beliefs - COUNTRY.  Not only am I sending you off on a summer country concert series, I am going to send you off on the 5 C’s of a Beachin’ Bandsintown 21st Century Summer.   So, get out your Zippo lighter (yup, there’s an app for that) and get ready to Party Up google style.  Don’t forget to register for the June 17-18 Tech Camp.
