Who will help us grow from beginning to innovating?

An important question prompted this weeks blog:  Who is going to help us grow from beginning to innovating?  As teachers began to self assess themselves during our  October 6th professional learning day on Element 1. What do I typically do to provide clear learning goals and scales?  or Element 2. What do I typically do to track student progress?, this question seemed to echo throughout the room.
At GISH, we are fortunate enough to have Katie Ramsey- Science Coach, Irene Falldorf- Math Coach, and Selena Wardyn, Co-teaching Coach at our fingertips to help us with this endeavour!  Additionally, our administrative team has charged themselves, as instructional leaders, with the task of facilitating our focus planning groups.  These groups serve as our sounding board for sharing ideas, collaborating, and problem solving.  Therefore, this weeks blog entry is dedicated to recognizing the multiple resources available to help us move from beginning to innovating.  Happy growing!
